L'honorable Député PASSOLI Abelim avec ARSEPJ Offre

On Saturday, September 14, 2024, the Honourable Deputy PASSOLI Abelim lent his support to destitute pupils and orphans in the Sotouboua 2 commune. The school kit handover ceremony, which took place at the Adjengré cultural center, distributed essential supplies for the educational careers of many young people. The aim of this gesture is to ease families' back-to-school expenses.

Kits to promote academic success

The donated school kits included a variety of essential items for schoolchildren: 150 school bags, 2,120 notebooks, 300 pens, 150 geometric sets, 150 slates, pencils and 24 boxes of chalk. This significant aid, divided between the six cantons of the commune, is part of a long-term effort to promote education and support pupils in their studies despite the economic difficulties of their families.

Continued support for the Head of State's actions

In presenting this gift, the Hon. PASSOLI Abelim recalled the vision of the Head of State, Mr. Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, who places youth at the heart of his national policy. "Students occupy a special place in our country's politics. That's why the Head of State thinks of them at the start of each new school year by offering kits to relieve parents," he declared.

UNIR support for disadvantaged families

The prefectural secretary of the UNIR party in Sotouboua, Mr GNANGUISSA Plibam, expressed his gratitude, recalling the party's commitment to pupils in precarious situations. "Only the UNIR party, in its actions, thinks of deprived children and parents who don't have the means," said Mr. GNANGUISSA Plibam. This support reiterates the party's commitment to fighting social inequality and improving learning conditions.

An event honoured by local authorities

The school kit handover ceremony was attended by local and administrative authorities, as well as cantonal secretaries. This gathering testifies to the mobilization and interest shown by local elected officials and leaders in the education of the region's young people.

This act of generosity by the Honorable PASSOLI Abelim reflects a collective effort to improve the daily lives of pupils in Sotouboua 2, reminding everyone of the importance of education as a pillar of development.
